Our Story

Our founders, Mr. Umesh Vaidyamath and Mr. Raj Vaidyamath, are serial technology entrepreneurs who founded Medicodio Inc in 2021 with a vision to revolutionize the medical coding industry by automating workflows with AI-powered medical coding assistant, CODIO. They saw the opportunity to create a solution that would assist medical coders and healthcare facilities increase efficiency, revenue, and accuracy while reducing errors, claim denials, turnaround time, and expenses in medical coding workflows.

Our state-of-the-art technology enhances code accuracy, optimizes workflow efficiency by up to 85%, and increases productivity by up to 45%. We offer a comprehensive range of features, including CPT/ICD code search, NCCI Edit checks, and automated charge entry, making CODIO the ideal solution for healthcare facilities, Revenue Cycle Management companies, and medical coders.

Umesh Vaidyamath is an innovative entrepreneur passionate about leveraging technology to revolutionize healthcare. He is widely recognized as a serial entrepreneur with a track record of founding, investing in, building, and scaling tech-driven businesses. Umesh is an industry expert on SaaS, Cloud Computing, and IT Management. He brings over 20 years of expertise in creating go-to-market strategies for a global audience, rolling out new product features, bringing in tech innovations, and scalable business models. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, an advisory board member for Mitratech, and a prolific contributor to Forbes and SiliconIndia. He received the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award (2007). 

Raj Vaidyamath

Raj Vaidyamath is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience transforming companies into industry leaders through strategic thinking and operational discipline. He has a deep understanding of enterprise, SaaS, cloud, and consumer businesses, with a passion for evolving the healthcare industry with AI/ML models. Raj has worked with multiple industries and achieved outstanding results, including successfully building one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in the Immigration and Compliance industry. He possesses superior critical and analytical skills, a general management perspective, and the ability to lead and mentor teams. Raj's highly process-oriented, customer-focused, and analytical approach has earned him recognition and awards, including the 2010 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award and consecutive Stevie Awards on customer satisfaction.
