A Medical Coding QA Analyst with CPMA certification is a specialized role in the healthcare industry. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Performing daily audits and sending daily audit reports within 48 hours^..
2. Preparing weekly and monthly dashboards.
3. Providing effective and constructive feedback to agents to improve their performance.
4. Conducting weekly briefing sessions and refresher trainings as required.
5. Coordinating with operations teams on process updates.
6. Researching and quality checking medical coding data.
7. Conducting quarterly and annual quality and functionality reviews of data updates and online tool performance.
8. Assisting with code reviews for products such as books and coding reference charts.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Coding certification is a must
3. Minimum 8+ years of experience in Medical Coding
4.  Experience in ICD-9, ICD-10, and/or CPT medical billing codes.
